How do I apply for treatment?

What sources of funding are available?
Funding is available through MEIA (income assistance), Company Health Insurance and subsidies and Self Pay which includes Medical EI. (refer to Referral Forms)
Are there recreational facilities available?
There is not a gym at the centre, however clients can go into town to use the recreation centre once they have been in treatment thirty days. (must arrange their own transportation into town.)
How long must a potential client be detoxed before intake at Paëtzold Centre?
The minimum detox time is 72 hours. That varies depending on the drug that is being used, as they all go through the system differently and withdrawal symptoms vary.
Do I get my own room?
Yes, client rooms are single occupancy, containing a bed, wardrobe, desk, chair and lamp
Is there one on one counselling?
One on one counselling is available. (see Referral Forms under Additional Services)
Can I have visitors?
Visiting hours are Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am - 4:00pm. All visits are pre-arranged with your counsellor.

The person can phone the main office line, 604.826.6681 and leave a message. The information will be passed on.
